So you want to do a shoot like this, but are concerned you won't get enough out of it due to a few pesky pounds, insecurities, or not knowing what to wear? What if I told you that there are positions that are flattering for every body type? We can achieve this by talking before the shoot and getting the right questions answered. Which is why when you book with Sage Imagery Boudoir, you'll get both a questionnaire and in person or phone consult. Talk me through your vision of what you'd love to see - what you've always wanted to pull off. Or ask me for inspiration and pick a look of your choosing. I'll hire a hair and makeup artist that can work wonders with elaborate artistry, or if you would like to keep things glamorously natural toned, she can do that too!

This helps me get to understand your drive to do the shoot whether it is a confidence boost for yourself or gift to another... or both!
After we're on the same page about the why and the what you want, I'll send a guide to the how. The 24hrs before your shoot are an important aspect and often overlooked without a checklist to help you track. Don't worry, I've got you! This guide will go over important stretches, when to shower, and how to arrive to the studio.
I hope you made plans for after the photoshoot, whether it's going out with friends or a hot date, because you'll feel amazing about yourself. It's all part of the confidence boost so make the most of it!
Within two weeks after your shoot, we'll sit down together, and go over the images you'd like to finalize your collection of choice. At the meeting, you'll pay your remaining balance. I'll get to work on editing the photos and order your products of choice right away. Boudoir can take up to a month to be finalized, depending on how elaborate a collection you chose and what season it is - winter and spring have quicker turn around. But I promise the wait is worth it; attention to the fine details will leave you radiant.
FAQ
How far in advance should I book my session?
You'll want to book about 5 weeks from when you'll want your photos. This gives us 2 weeks to prepare for your session, then from your session day, it takes 1 week to get to image selection, and then another 2 weeks to complete editing and order products. Some months are faster than this, but counting on a 5 week turnaround from booking to delivery is safe.
How much do sessions cost?
Clients spend an average of $2k on their boudoir experience.
Do you offer payment plans?
I do! We have a payment schedule that breaks up payments into three payments with an option to add more if you need. Payments begin at time of booking and are finalized the day of your session so you can relax knowing your experience is paid for.
What does a session include?
Booking your boudoir session covers the consultation, hair and makeup, 60+ minute photoshoot in the private studio, guided posing along the way, a private viewing session of your photos, and a $300 credit toward a boudoir collection of your choice.
How much do you edit?
I remove blemishes, flyaway hairs, and distractions in the background. I'll smooth your skin and keep the details of your clothing sharp. My editing style is to create a moody depth with lighting while enriching colors.
What do I need to bring?
It's best to come over prepared. I'd rather you pull up with a full dufflebag than only the bare minimum. Things to consider outside of just outfits: jewelry, heels, and perhaps props that represent pieces of your life (gamer controller, baseball bat, football, husband's tie, and the list goes onnnnn).
What if I don't want my images shared?
After you've looked through all of your photos at your reveal appointment, you'll have the option to sign a model release for either certain images, anon only, full release, or simply state that they are to be kept private and forego signing the release.
